Consuelo is an Inland Empire artivist and student. She describes her work as, “Holy, Jotería, and Rasquache.”

Water Damage, her debut poetry book, was published 25 October 2025 with Riot of Roses Publishing House.

She got her start performing in the church, preaching about anti-racism and environmentalism as a teenager. After leaving the church, she continues to find divinity in community, nature, and language. You can find her at open mics across the IE and LA, experimental art shows, your local public library, or spiritual apparitions.
